Field Visit 2023

 Date: 20 November 2023

Our class conducted the field visit on 20 November 2023. We visited the Manorama printing press, Milma Diary Plant, Munroe Island, and Kollam beach. Due to traffic and other reasons, we couldn't visit the Kollam light house, which was the destination of Mathematics department. Overall, this trip was a productive learning experience.

Reading and reflection

 Reading and reflection involve analyzing a text deeply and thinking critically about its meaning, relevance, and personal insights gained. I read the book 'Is god a mathematician ' by Mario Livio during semester 3. In this book the author explores the relationship between mathematics, human mind and the universe  I read the book ' Is maths Real' By Eugenia Cheng during semester 4. This book is  a thought provoking exploration of mathematics as a practical tool.
