Biweekly report (Week 3 & 4)- School Internship Phase 2

 Day 11: 16 December 2024

I was tasked with invigilation for the 8th standard students, who displayed mixed behaviour during the exam. I noticed a few students struggling with time management and offered gentle reminders to help them stay on track.

Day 12: 17 December 2024

Today I got exam duty on the UP section. They needed more guidance and reassurance during the exam.

Day 13: 18 December 2024

Today, I was involved in managing the 10th standard exam, where the atmosphere was noticeably more serious.

Day 14: 19 December 2024

Today was the last day of Christmas examination. I assisted with the overall organization and ensured smooth completion of the exams.

Day 15: 20 December 2024

Today was the Christmas celebration in school. Various cultural programmes were held by students and teachers.

Day 16: 30 December 2024

After the Christmas holidays, Today the school reopened. Students were so excited. I got 2 periods on 9B. I taught the introduction of section ' Angles and areas' on chapter parts of circles, using constructivist model and showed a chart. On the next period, I taught some questions on the same section and used slide as teaching aid.

Day 17: 31 December 2024

I planned to teach problems of section 'Angles and areas' of the same chapter and prepared a chart for the same. As I got an extra period, I taught additional questions and showed another chart as teaching aid and also gave activity cards.

Day 18: 01 January 2024

I conducted Achievement test on 9B on the 3rd period on the chapter 'Parts of circles'. As I got an extra period, I taught the section ' different bases' of chapter ' Prisms' in ICT model

Day 19: 03 January 2024

Today, I discussed some activity questions on the section ' Different bases' and showed chart and flashcard for the same.

Reading and reflection

 Reading and reflection involve analyzing a text deeply and thinking critically about its meaning, relevance, and personal insights gained. I read the book 'Is god a mathematician ' by Mario Livio during semester 3. In this book the author explores the relationship between mathematics, human mind and the universe  I read the book ' Is maths Real' By Eugenia Cheng during semester 4. This book is  a thought provoking exploration of mathematics as a practical tool.
