Biweekly report (week 5 & 6)- School Internship Phase 2

Day 20: 06 January 2024

Today, I taught the section 'Volume' of Prisms on 9B and used chart as teaching aid. as I got an extra period, I taught some activity questions on the same section and used slide for the same.

Day 21: 07 January 2024

I discussed some more activity questions on section 'Volume' of Prisms. I used an innovative model to teach about the prisms.

Day 22: 09 January 2024

I got two periods on 9B today. On first period, I taught the section 'Area' of Prisms and used a model of prism and a sheet of paper to make the concept of lateral surface area clear based on innovative lesson plan. On the next period, I discussed some activity questions of th same section and used slide for the same

Day 23: 10 January 2024

I taught some more activity questions on the section ' Area's of Prisms and used a slide to support the teaching process.

Day 24: 13 January 2024

Based on lesson plan 22, I taught 'lateral surface area ' of prisms and used a slide as teaching aid. As I got an extra period, I taught the section ' Cylinders' in the same chapter and prepared a model of cylinder for the same.

Day 25: 15 January 2024

I some additional questions on section 'cylinders' using a slide 1 . As I got an extra period, I taught section ' Curved surface area ' of same chapter using a model of cylinder and sheet of paper. I also used another slide 2. 

Day 26: 16 January 2024

I taught some more activity questions on the section ' curved surface area ' using a slide, this completing the chapter.

Day 27: 17 January 2024

Today I taught a new chapter 'proportion'. I introduced the section 'proportional changes' using a slide

Reading and reflection

 Reading and reflection involve analyzing a text deeply and thinking critically about its meaning, relevance, and personal insights gained. I read the book 'Is god a mathematician ' by Mario Livio during semester 3. In this book the author explores the relationship between mathematics, human mind and the universe  I read the book ' Is maths Real' By Eugenia Cheng during semester 4. This book is  a thought provoking exploration of mathematics as a practical tool.
