Onam 2023

 Date: 25 August 2023

Onam is celebrated as a 10-day long festival which is done for the homecoming of Asura King Mahabali from Patal Lok. We celebrated Onam at our College which was inaugurated by Principal of the Health Department along with our principal Beebi teacher and other teaching and non-teaching staffs followed by various cultural programs like Mega Thiruvathira (by all the students of B.Ed section at the school ground). We dressed in traditional garments and participated in some Onam games like VadamVali (the first years won the prize) and had the traditional Kerala meals, Sadya.

Reading and reflection

 Reading and reflection involve analyzing a text deeply and thinking critically about its meaning, relevance, and personal insights gained. I read the book 'Is god a mathematician ' by Mario Livio during semester 3. In this book the author explores the relationship between mathematics, human mind and the universe  I read the book ' Is maths Real' By Eugenia Cheng during semester 4. This book is  a thought provoking exploration of mathematics as a practical tool.
