Biweekly report (Week 3 & 4)- School Internship Phase 1
Day 09: 27 August 2024
There was assembly today. HM gave instructions for students regarding the science day going to be held in Friday I had 2nd period on 9B. I taught the continuation of previous class using Slide as the teaching aid. After the class, I cleared the doubts of students regarding the topic learned. I gave some ideas for Mathematics exhibition.
Day 10: 29 August 2024
Today I had 2nd period on 9B. I taught according to the lesson plan 10 as planned and used a slide as teaching-learning aid.
Day 11: 30 August 2024
The science exhibition was held today. Science and mathematics exhibition, work experience and IT Mela was held till noon. I taught 9th standard on 6th period. I taught the section 'product of sums' and used chart as teaching aid.
Day 12: 02 September 2024
I taught 9B on second period. As the Onam exam starts tomorrow (Sept 3 to 12), everyone was tensed. I taught some model question from the chapter "Multiplication Identities' in an exam-oriented manner and used slide as teaching aid.
Day 13: 03 September 2024
The Onam examination was started today. All classrooms were arranged for examination. I got exam duty in a classroom. As a teacher trainee, today was an important day since I could observe how an examination is conducted, which is an important aspect of teaching profession.
Day 14: 04 September 2024
Today was the second day of Onam examination. I got exam duty in a class comprising of both 9th and 10th standard students.
Day 15: 05 September 2024
September 5 is celebrated as Teacher's Day. Today various cultural programs were held after the examination at 3.30 pm. The program was inaugurated by the CI and SHO of Neyyattinkara Police station. Guard of honour was given to all teachers by the SPC cadets.
Day 16: 06 September 2024
Today was the fourth day of examination. Exam duties such as distributing question paper, maintaining discipline in classroom, collecting answer sheets, etc were done according to the instructions given by the teachers.
