Today all of us teacher trainees together conducted the Consientization program for 9th standard students on topic 'Time management strategies '.

  Conscientization programme on the topic 'Time Management Strategies' was conducted at GHS Perumpazhuthoor school on 22-01-25 at 11.00am to 12.30 pm. As one of the speakers of the programme, I discussed about Procrastination; one of the most common challenges faced by students. 

Day 20: 06 January 2024 Today, I taught the section 'Volume' of Prisms on 9B and used chart as teaching aid. as I got an extra period, I taught some activity questions on the same section and used  slide  for the same. Day 21: 07 January 2024 I discussed some more activity questions on section 'Volume' of Prisms. I used an innovative model to teach about the prisms. Day 22: 09 January 2024 I got two periods on 9B today. On first period, I taught the section 'Area' of Prisms and used a model of prism and a sheet of paper to make the concept of lateral surface area clear based on innovative lesson plan.  Reading and reflection involve analyzing a text deeply and thinking critically about its meaning, relevance, and personal insights gained. I read the book 'Is god a mathematician ' by Mario Livio during semester 3. In this book the author explores the relationship between mathematics, human mind and the universe  I read the book ' Is maths Real' By Eugenia Cheng during semester 4. This book is  a thought provoking exploration of mathematics as a practical tool.

  Day 11: 16 December 2024 I was tasked with invigilation for the 8th standard students, who displayed mixed behaviour during the exam. I noticed a few students struggling with time management and offered gentle reminders to help them stay on track. Day 12: 17 December 2024 Today I got exam duty on the UP section. They needed more guidance and reassurance during the exam. Day 13: 18 December 2024 Today, I was involved in managing the 10th standard exam, where the atmosphere was noticeably more serious. Day 14: 19 December 2024 Today was the last day of Christmas examination. I assisted with the overall organization and ensured smooth completion of the exams. Day 15: 20 December 2024 Today was the Christmas celebration in school. Various cultural programmes were held by students and teachers.   Day 01: 02 December 2024 Today was the first day of second phase teaching practice. I covered the concept of 'special operations' on chapter 'Polynomials' in 9B during 2nd period.   The 5 day community living camp was held on 26-11-2024 to 30-11-2024 at Bishop Selvamony Retreat center, Kanyakumari.  Programs of each day was conducted by each option students such as Physical science , Natural science ( Jeevana ), Mathematics(), Social science and Malayalam.   Day 45: 28 October 2024 I taught the section 'Diameter and perimeter' of the new chapter 'Circle measures' by showing flashcards and gave activity cards. Day 46: 29 October 2024 Today, more activity questions on the section 'Diameter and perimeter' were taught. I used a wire as teaching aid to teach the concept of circumference of circle. I also showed a  slide  . All of us teacher trainees together conducted a school-based activity on topic 'Health and hygiene in adolescence'. Day 47: 30 October 2024 Today was the last of my 1st phase of teaching practice. I taught the section 'New number' in the chapter 'Circle measures' and showed a  slide . At the end of the class, I collected feedback from the students. The first phase of teaching practice helped me to get many practical experiences and motivated me to become a good teacher.

  School based activity was conducted on 29-10-2024 at GHS Perumpazhuthoor school, on the topic 'Health and hygiene in Adolescence'. The class was taken by Dr. Akhila, for the 10th standard students.

                                                  Date: 30 September, 1 October 2024 The school Klolsavam namely, 'EENAM 2024' was held on 30/9/24 and 1/10/24. The program was inaugurated by Sree Ansalan, MLA Neyyattinkara. It was followed by various programs that showed skills and talents of students.

  Day 17: 09 September 2024 As another day of Onam examination, I got exam duty on morning as well as at afternoon shift. It was a challenging yet rewarding experience that enhanced my ability to manage a classroom effectively. Day 18: 10 September 2024 Working alongside experienced teachers during exam duty taught me valuable techniques for maintaining control and fairness in the exam hall. Day 19: 11 September 2024 Today I got exam duty at UP section. It was a different experience from high school section. Students at UP section were more energetic and active than high school students. Organising the answer sheets for valuation by the teachers and other duties performed by teachers were all new experiences for me.                                                      Date: 05 September 2024 Teacher's day is celebrated to recognise the contribution of teachers to the society and also  India celebrates the birth anniversary of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan on September 5.  various cultural programs were held at the school and Guard of Honour was given to all the teacher by the SPC cadets at the school.

                                                         Date: 30 August 2024 The science exhibition, including science fair, work experience, mathematics exhibition, IT mela was held at the school. All of the teacher trainees got duties related to the respective subjects. It was amazing to see the skill of students.

          Introduction We ( Athulya, Anulekshmi, Anuja, Krishnapriya, Theertha, Sudheesh and I) began our first phase school internship programme at GHS Perumpazhuthoor school. The school has a total of 7 divisions from class 8 to 10, having an average of 35 students in each class.  Today, as it was the first day, our concerned teachers gave us necessary instructions and allocated us to the respective classes 8 & 9.                                                                 Date: 22 August 2024 Sports Day was held today. Various sports games such as long jump, high jump, standing jump, short put, volleyball and football were held. All of us teacher trainees were given various duties. It was a day full of whole new experiences.

  Date: 19 August 2024 Chingam 1 was celebrated today. There were various cultural programs held.   During the program, Godwin sir was selected and honoured as the best farmer among the teachers and as the best CPO of SPC.

    Date: 16 August 2024   The school parliament election was held today from 10.00am to 11.00am.  I got the election duty. All the teachers collected the result and held a special assembly at 11.30am to declare the result.

    Date: 06 August 2024   A warm welcome was given to the freshers.  The function titled "Nannayi Vaa" started at 10 am with v arious programs and tasks are given to the juniors. The program  concluded at around 3 pm, with a refreshment.

    Date: 31 July 2024   We arranged the sent-off function for our seniors graduating this year. It was an emotional moment with them having the space to recall their memories as teacher trainees. The outgoing students as well as the teachers shared their experiences with us.
